Matthew Murton - Crynfryn Farm

Crynfryn Farm is a long established organic farm on the hills above Llangeitho, overlooking the Aeron valley and the Cambrian Mountains. Their 160 acres reach down into the valley from the hills above, giving the farm a wide range of habitats through fields, hedges and woodland. A mixed farm with sheep and cattle they also produce a range of seasonal vegetables and hardy perennial plants.

Suzanne has recently taken on a walled garden which will be organic from November. This will enable them to produce earlier and later crops and hopefully in the next couple of years soft fruit.

Easter weekend saw nearly 60 of Willow’s friends arrive on the farm for three days of tree planting, eating, dancing and chocolate egg hunting. The glorious weather stayed with us and over 500 trees were planted.
